Hot Water Systems & Safety course overview
This course is for experienced operatives from the plumbing, heating & ventilating, gas and related industry who are looking to hold an industry recognised qualification to install, commission or service Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems UHWSS.
It is aimed at plumbing, gas and heating and ventilation engineers with existing knowledge of installing unvented hot water storage systems (UHWSS).
The course covers the necessary design, installation, commissioning and maintenance knowledge, skills and understanding required to safely install unvented systems. It includes all related regulations contained in Approved Document G (Building Regulations governing England and Wales). Completion of the course provides evidence of an individual's competence in this specialised work area, focusing on the full scope of the hot and cold water supply clauses contained in Approved Document G.

Although this course is aimed at experienced plumbing and heating professionals there is no formal entry requirement.
