City and Guilds 2391-52 combines all of the elements of Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection and Testing.

The 2391-52 qualification, also known as the Inspection and Testing qualification, is an important certification for individuals involved in electrical inspection and testing activities. This qualification is typically required for electricians, electrical contractors, and other professionals working in the electrical industry. It signifies that the holder has demonstrated the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out thorough and accurate inspections and tests on electrical installations.

2391-52 is specifically focused on the inspection and testing of electrical installations in accordance with the requirements of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations – BS 7671.

The qualification is designed to ensure that professionals possess the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out thorough inspections and tests on electrical systems to ensure their safety and compliance with industry standards. It is suitable for electricians, electrical engineers, and other professionals involved in the design, installation, maintenance, or inspection of electrical installations.

To obtain the City & Guilds 2391-52 qualification, candidates must complete both practical assessments and written examinations. The practical assessments involve inspection and testing tasks on a simulated electrical installation. The written exams assess the candidate’s theoretical knowledge and understanding of inspection and testing procedures.

Upon successful completion of the qualification, candidates are awarded the City & Guilds 2391-52 certificate, which demonstrates their competence in electrical inspection and testing. Employers highly value this qualification in the electrical industry, and is often a requirement for individuals seeking employment or career progression in roles involving the inspection and testing of electrical installations.
